This impressive handcrafted ring holds a large 3/4″ X 1 1/4″ stone call Larimar.
There is no other color like this in natural stones.
It is a size 8.
I bought this in French St. Marten and have always been fascinated with this fabulous stone, Larimar.
Mined ONLY in the Dominican Republic, it was just recently discovered in 1974 by a Peace Corp worker.
He named it after his daughter Larissa and the Spanish word for ocean, mar.
It is the result of an ancient volcanic activity and has a color like no other stone.
