Finally I’m loading the jewelry purchases from our fall trip to Puglia, Italy.
My mission is always to find local artisans on my travels and this did not disappoint.
In the mountain town of Matera, the ancient folks carved their cave homes out of the soft limestone rock. Because the rock is soft it’s easy to carve and voila!
These unique earrings have the large round stone at the top and then a pretty deep blue bead at the bottom. Small Crystals are the spacers.
