Lilly always starts out with a very heavy/hefty sterling silver gauge metal to construct the shank. Even though it is hard and stiff there is a slit open shank under the stones for slight size adjustment. (Now size 7.5)
The shank (band) is flat and is 1/2″ wide.
Three gorgeous and huge rough cut Titanium Quartz stones fan out in their bezels on top.

She is my absolute favorite artist for doing contemporary jewelry artwork with stones in the rough.
All the stones are hand selected by Lily herself and each mounted in a handcrafted form to fit around the stone in bezel style.
Native Americans are employed to do all the phenomenal hand work.
