This hefty sterling silver ring has a very unique double shank (size 7) that is open at the top to allow for larger fingers. (clever!)
The huge turquoise stone alone is an inch long and sits beautifully above the 1/2″ wide inside band.
A stunner by artisan Lilly Barrack!
Very architectural!
Lilly is definitely my favorite ring artist bar none.
She lives in New Mexico and her world travels have resulted in cross-cultural influences with Africa playing a major role.
Her designs are geometric and simple yet filled with expression and power.
She crafts each handmade jewelry piece in her Albuquerque, New Mexico studio (of which I personally visited!). Since her pieces are handcrafted, only a limited number of each piece is produced, making every one unique and one of a kind.
Many of her stones are rough cut – one of this year’s jewelry trends – and all are bezeled in a very impressive heavy sterling silver.
I am so confident in her quality and style that I can purchase without seeing now, and am always wowed!
